Course Development
World-class custom online courses that deliver a truly unparalleled learning experience for your students and instructors alike.
Our goal is to work collaboratively with your program leadership to create engaging and effective online learning experiences. Initially, we will work with you to ensure that your organization’s distinctive pedagogy is defined, and we will determine how best to translate this instructional philosophy to the online medium. We strive to incorporate unique elements of your instructional philosophy into a customized online format, whether they focus on ensuring that learners have an opportunity to be agents of change, perform action research, utilize experiential learning, or participate in a community of inquiry. Additionally, we collaborate with faculty to translate their priorities, such as stressing the interdisciplinary nature of the curriculum, focusing on reflection opportunities and outreach.
Consistent with our collaborative approach, Focus EduVation adheres to a flexible course design pedagogy of Instruct || Engage || Apply. The pedagogical approach based on constructivism promotes a student-centric and outcomes-driven learning experience and requires an analysis of structure, content, learner engagement, as well as technology. It allows your organization and our instructional designers to ensure that we’re attending to instructional presence, cognitive presence, and the significant social presence in courses.
