Prior to the commencement of any online course development project, we do undertake extensive discussions with the client stakeholders, internal production teams and the project leadership teams. This is done to ascertain clear objectives, timelines and goals that are scalable. We listen to the voice of the customer, and ensure that the process design for project implementation follows clearly mandated principles of achieving the outcomes for developing the final product.
We normally like to start work on a prototype. To begin work on a prototype and to allocate resources mapping to the objectives of the client, we begin with planning and resourcing by dividing the project into tasks and assigning each task to project owners. A project checklist is prepared and is checked at the end of every task. The project’s risks are forecasted and analyzed. They are documented and we notify the client of them. Regular team meetings are conducted with the project manager to ensure project appropriateness. The progress of the project is communicated frequently with the client. Client meetings with the project stakeholders are conducted when necessary.
Our project leadership team works very closely with the client at every stage of curriculum design, content creation, and training of subject matter experts and faculty. We also use a template-driven approach to standardize the process.
